According to Billboard magazine, the AC/DC 'Black Ice' tour has been the second highest grossing concert in history. That is amazing, not surprised though as most concert sold out minutes everywhere.

The Rolling Stones "Bigger Bang" tour is still #1 which turned in $558.3 million from 147 shows. The DC tour had an attendance of nearly 4.9 million/168 shows and a gross of roughly $441.6 million which is still quite a way behind the Stones. It would be interesting to know the attendance figures for the Stones tour and compare average ticket prices....
